Blessed!

Does anyone on this God created planet know how crafty Jill is? Ummm, she homemade this clipboard for me and made me cry! Front and back decoupaged!!! And I just gotta share what is inscribed for emergency moments...she said, "For those days when you need reminding how privileged we are to work in this children's ministry."
  • Quote from Christy at Power Lab 2008..."Somebody help me! These kids are accepting Christ so fast, I can't write it all down fast enough!"
  • Cody's response to the question 'What did Jesus do for us?' "He died on the cross but didn't stay dead 'cause God raised Him from the dead so we can go to heaven...I learned that here!"
  • In preparing for the upcoming revival week, some kids at church learned what "revival" really means. Then they all agreed, IT'S WHAT HAPPENS AT VBS!

Revival-noun
1.
Restoration to life, consciousness, vigor, strength, etc. An awakening, in a church or community. An evangelistic service or a series of services for the purpose of effecting a religious awakening.

A Grand Day

I don't know if anyone knows it or not...but, it is National Biscuit Month. Today's lesson required me to put the announcements inside biscuits, of all things. Well, just wanted to share how cool God is...no one really knew (except for Jill cuz she's wonder woman) that I needed biscuits for the lesson and last night a neighbor brought me two cans of Grands Biscuits. No one gives you biscuits, for real...wonderful hometown folk have brought me tomatoes, peppers, okra, watermelon and maybe even supper if I'm lucky. But, biscuits??? The only explanation is~God! I guess that's how He rolls! (No pun intended...bahahaha)

Getting the vans ready reminds me of this post...

Seatbelt Please?!
"Salvation is kinda like wearing a seatbelt," I explained. The kids just looked at me funny. "I ask you, as you hop on the van, to put on your seatbelt, do you?" Some of the kids said yes, others looked at the ground, and some said an honest no. "Why do I want you to wear it? Yes that's right, in case we were in an accident your life would be spared." I reminded them of the numerous times that I have encouraged them to give their heart to God. If they have done so, then they have put on their spiritual seatbelt. Safe and secure for all eternity.

Pray that we will share the good news without waivering...
