God's huge object lesson...

On week one of Kidmo's A.I.M. series, the students learned about the healing of the ten lepers and how only one returned with a "thank you, Jesus". Our kids really seemed to take it in and were gungho when I challenged them to make a 'list' of family members in their household and put something next to each name that they appreciate about that person. Then the kids committed to go home and verbally say thanks ____ for _______.

Well on week two, we reviewed the lepers' story. And I asked the kids who followed through with their committment to say thanks. The major majority of them spaced it and totally forgot. And, then and there, we had the bible story jump off the pages in theatric pause and the Word became flesh!
